This person said he was Harry Fox, although another message said Tom Fox. When prompted further, said he was from Rogers Law Firm, Merriman, IL. Told me that if I didn't speak to him all he could do is wish me luck as all of this trouble unfolded. These people have called me intermittently in the last year, claiming to be from the Law and Investigations Department in Washington D.C., and another time claiming to be from another law firm in Florida. Each time, they have a new number, but is the same standard spiel and the same broken accent and men calling. I have had my local police department call them to stop the harassing calls at work, seems to be the only thing that works. Also put alerts on my credit reports. I don't owe anything to any payday loan companies and they will not provide me with proof of these debts. My credit report also does not support any of these allegations. This is a complete scam, please beware.

Don't hang up on them!! They will still call you again and again anyway, press option #1 like you wish to speak to them and just leave the phone off the hook. When they pick up, you're not there and now you waste their time. Or better yet, give the phone to your 4 year old to talk to them or perhaps your dog.

This is the # they tell you to call back. The # they call from is unavailable. They want you to pay money for a loan you never had. They refuse to mail or fax you any info and insist on your debit card # or you will go to jail. They call my work and home numerous times a day telling me I am going to jail and I have to go to court but refuse to send me a summons. When you google the # many blogs come up from people going through the same thing. Some people have actually paid them money. They sound like they are from India and speak poor english with names like Steve Martin, John Jackson, etc... Please dont fall for this. I am thinking about going to the local news and making a big deal since no one else will!!

A caller from this number has been phoning me daily (up to six times per day) for a little over a week now. I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize and this caller has never left a message, which I find very suspicious.

He has been calling my office for weeks saying his name is Jim....My secretary has been keeping him away as he would not state who or why he is calling me, when eventually I took his call he hung up without saying anything, as soon as he heard my name he hung up.

Indian man with heavy accent called threatening me with putting me behind bars regarding a payday loan that I have no knowledge about. Caller ID number that appeared in my phone was 911. He gave me his phone number as 6465713386

threatens me that if I dont call to settle a debt before 3:00 that he will have to sign papers to for the court and report me to Miami-Dade Police to have me arrested. When I asked him for what, he said he wasnt at liberty to give me that information. I should call a lawyer!

I want to get this matter taken care of I have not received any loan from star net I want this person to stop calling my mom and aunt and me .This matter needs to be dealt with and when I call this number I dont get to talk to an operator.

THIS IS FRAUD!! He says his name is Robert Williams. He claims he works with people in recieving grants up to $50,000! I dunno how but when he calls he know everything about you. Name social D.L # address EVERYTHING! I actually beleived him cause i have been making applications for grants myself! I gave him a bank account number i never use. He took money out and made it look like i used it myself at a resturant! Hes dangerous.
